Rally of “Donating to Help CDP Member Zhu, Yufu”
At 11 am of Aug. 4, 2009, more than one hundred CDP members come to rally in front of China-General Consulate Office. Today’s topic is “Donating to Help CDP Member Zhu, Yufu”;”Strongly Protest against CCP’s Persecution on CDP Member Zhu, Yufu!”. Mr. Jun Wang, chairman of CDP and CDPWU and chief of 《China Democracy Journal》attends today’s rally and donates to CDP member Zhu, Yufu.
【Right Safeguarding website reports】On Apr.18, 2009, Mr. Zhu, Yufu, Zhejiang democrat came out of the prison and failed to handle minimum living. Currently he is difficult to live. Mr. Zhu, now is 57 years old and he was born on Dec. 28, 1953.He dedicated himself to democratic movements during the time of Democratic Wall and played a active part in it. He’s never changed his mind, and that’s why CCP authority continually opposed him and he was searched home, summoned and threatened. In June 1999, he was arrested and on Sep.15, he was arrested due to “Overthrowing State Power”. After that, he was sentenced to imprison for 7 years. In the prison, Mr. Zhu has never subjected to the vicious power and once he was hunger strike for 13 years. He almost died. In May 2007, Mr. Zhu was imprisoned again due to “Interfering Affairs”.
After Mr. Zhu left prison, his height become 1.78 meters rather than 1.80 meters. He didn’t have stable living source and his lumbar disc has been herniated for almost 10 years without treatment. Lumbar arthritis has been more serious. Mr. Zhu didn’t know his illness until he handled minimum living to exam health. Doctor earnestly suggested that Mr. Zhu rest in bed, otherwise the result would be even worse.

Right safeguarding website also reported that Mr. Zhu didn’t have any living resource, although his seniority has been 29 years. What he can do is to withdraw 400 RMB, relief fund from civil administration department. Mr. Zhu is hard to stand; hence he insisted that he withdraw the minimum living by himself. On July 28, Mr. Zhu was invited to “enjoy tea” again. On July 29, Mr. Zhu was informed that he was not qualified to handle minimum living, because he was living with his wife from January till June. But Mr. Zhu questioned that I was always imprisoning, and my wife was also staying with me?
Mr. Zhu also indicated that his pain-bearing capability is stronger than others, so he didn’t pay attention to the pain for 10 years and didn’t feel such serious as what the physician warned. It is obvious that Mr. Zhu isn’t qualified to handle minimum living, and furthermore he totally belongs to this range. Mr. Zhu prepared to visit Provincial government and public access offices to defend his right to subsistence.
In 1999, Mr. Zhu, Yufu, one of the CDP founders once said that:” democracy never drops from the god. He will struggle for the social unsound system for a whole life. He will let whole China know what the prison is. He said:” China needs democratic system and if China won’t have democratic system, China isn’t prospective. Chinese corruption will continue to be and ever worse. Mr. Zhu, Yufu expressed that democracy will lead to sacrifice and even democracy will result in imprisonment, I will dedicate to democracy. He will live for ideal and prepare for dying in the prison.

Mr. Jun Wang leads to donate money to help dissidents, human rights defenders, religious people, CDP members and relatives of CDP members. He proposes the theory that Donation is showing love heart and supporting Chinese democratic career. Chairman Jun Wang said that we call on more people to show love heart to these people and it is not sufficient, if only depending on CDP. Let’s all the people to care about Chinese democratic career and dissidents, human rights defenders, religious people, CDP members and relatives of CDP members.
Chairman Jun Wang attends today’s rally and leads to donate money to Zhu, Yufu. He calls on all the CDP members to learn from Mr. Zhu, Yufu and help Zhu’s family to solve difficulties in life. Those who participate in today’s rally donate money to Zhu, Yufu and the amounts are over $600 dollars.
