About Ms. Jing Pang’s Help Appeal
Jing Pang was born in 1986. Two years ago, she broke through CCP’s fence and escaped to Thailand and applied for refugee status to United Nations High Commission for Refugees. Life in Thailand made her understand more about the unknown in China Mainland and have a profound understanding of CCP. She decided to get rid of this small circle and stood in a higher position to strive for China democracy career. In the trend of 20th Anniversary of June 4 memorial organized by global democracy organization and democrats, Haibo Wu and her were led by Dr. Jianli Yang in October of last year, organized and set up the “Antitrust Committee of June 4” in March, leading the memorial activities in Thailand.
From Now on, they progressed couple of movements aimed at 20th Anniversary of June 4 Movement.
They expressed the open letter to CCP chairman Jintao Hu, appealed for CCP’s openly anti-June 4 to CCP, posted it to the Internet and signed it in the Internet.
To correspond to the call on of “Global Movement about 20th Anniversary of June 4 Memorial” Committee, they have actively taken over these kind of movements in Thailand. Under the lack of expenditure and under the persecution of difficulties and risks anytime, in Bangkok, Patiya, Ayuthaya and etc and tourist resort, they progress speech movements and distribute Chinese, English, Thai versions of leaflets and discs.
They aren’t afraid of the persecution of CCP and Thailand police, fight against with them and successfully hold the protests and demonstration movements for almost 4 hours. They gave speeches, place wreath to June 4 heroes, write slogans, blacken CCP flag and hold Candle Night and all the movements produce the precedent of Chinese democracy in Thailand.
In these movements, Ms. Jing Pang is one of the participators and organizers, and has devoted a lot to the success. The oath, constitution and published manuscripts of this organization have been written and finalized by her.
Haibo Wu and other two members were persecuted into prison, and Ms. Jing Pang, who escaped accidentally engaged in public relations and relief career regardless of her own safety. She has written bunches of manuscripts to unveil the truth of what the arrested people have suffered. She turned to help for United Nations High Commission for Refugees, Thailand Human Rights Committee, courts and etc. to strive for the fair treatment of persecuted people and prevented them from sending back to China.
However, Ms. Pang Jing now is living a difficult and dangerous life. United Nations High Commission for Refugees till now hasn’t responded to her application, but the danger of her persecution is increasing daily. Her contact with Thailand Human Rights Committee disclosed the truth that persecuted people suffered brutal beat through Immigration Bureau Prison and inspired the resent of Thailand police, making her situations more difficult. To avoid mishap, she has moved many times.
Hereby we appeal for those who care about Chinese democracy career to help Ms. Jing Pang to get rid of the current difficulty. We also appeal for United Nations High Commission for Refugees to recognize Ms. Jing Pang’s refugee status and exempt her worry about persecution and repatriation.
