2009 Asia-Pacific Human Rights Foundation Award Ceremony
At night of Sep. 26, 2009, Human Rights Leaders of 2009 Asia-Pacific Human Rights Foundation” award ceremony was launched in Baldwin Park, CA. This year, it specially establishes the Spirit Leader Award” and this reward was rewarded to Mr. Hongzhi Li, Falun Gong founder. Mr. Yizi Chen, Guohong Li, Eddie Romero Chaplain, Nguyen Huu Chanh, founder of Freedom Vietnam Government, Xiaoning Wang, Fan Wu, Jin, Wu and Lin Xia were awarded with the “Human Rights Rights Leader”.
Asia-Pacific Human Rights Foundation is an International organization. Currently, it has branches in New Zealand, Australia and etc. and has members in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe and other places. He said that human rights are the globally priceless and exceeds all the racial, culture and belief. Asia-Pacific Human Rights Foundation is aimed to concentrate on protecting human rights in Asia-Pacific region. From 2006 till, it awards those who have devoted a great deal to the human rights defending. Those who have been awarded are Chinese people, other ethnic people, overseas human rights fighter, political criminals imprisoned in China mainland. Asia-Pacific Human Rights Foundation firmly upholds justice, and absolutely doesn’t submit to any powerful force.

Picture 7: The host initially announced that the first award was Mr. Yizi Chen, Ziyang Zhao’s brainpower. Mr. Yizi Chen suffered terminal cancer and thus failed to claim the award in personal. Through TV short program, he expressed acceptance speech. Mr. Yinquan Liu (Right), director of Asia-Pacific Human Rights Foundation and secretary of China Social Democracy Party accepted the medal from Caoan Scholar on behalf of Mr. Yizi Chen.
