Rally of “Free CDP Members and Dissents Incidentally” before the Congress in Washington DC
1:20pm, January 12th, 2010, over 80 members of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union held a rally of “Free CDP Members and Dissents Incidentally” before the Congress in Washington DC. . The rally demanded the CCP controlled government to free Binzhang Wang, Xianhua Ning, Yongmin Qin, Wangpin Xu, Mingjun Hu, Zhengming Zhu, Sen Wang, Rongqing Wang, Depu He, Shuqin Chen, Disong lv, Lin Zhang, Jianwei Chi, Changfa Xie, Jia Hu, Guangcheng Chen, Feixiong Guo and Xiaobo Liu. Meanwhile, the rally also asked Chinese government to reform its legal system and ensure legal independence. Mr. Jun Wang made an important speech in the rally. The whole rally continued for about 30 minutes.
The US Congress is comprised of the Senate and House of Representatives. Congressmen are elected by citizens and fell into two categories, Senators and Representatives. Congressmen, same as administrative and judicial officials in the federal, must make a vow to comply with the constitution of USA and all rules and restrictions of their house. Their property will be published and no bribes will be tolerated. If a congressman is found corruptive or have other immoral behaviors, the two houses will investigate and punish him immediately.

Chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, publisher of “China Democracy Journal”, Mr. Jun Wang, said in the rally: It’s significant for China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union to hold rally before the Congress. We not only appeal for the USA congress to concern about the progress of China’s democratic politic reform, but also invoke them to provide help to the legal system reform in China and realize legal independence in China. Moreover, we appeal for US Congress to put pressure on CCP government, make it ameliorate human rights and free CDP members and dissents in prison incidentally.
Mr. Jun Wang pointed out: the US congress system is a good model for China’s democracy in the future. A democratic China will have congressmen elected by the people. Government officials will also be elected in China in the future. China will have a democratic government to defend the human rights.
China Democracy Party members in the rally before the Congress shouted out slogans loudly: “Chinese People Need Democracy”, “Chinese People Need Human Rights”, “Free Binzhang Wang”, “Release Xiaobo Liu”, “Stop Persecuting Falun” and “Free CDP Members and Dissents in Prison”.
