Address by Mr. Jun Wang, Chairman of China Democracy Party
In U.S. Congress on the 16th Commemoration of the Vietnam Human Rights Day

Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is a pleasure for us to meet again today. How are you!
We have come here today to the American Congress Hall to attend the Sixteenth Commemoration of Vietnam Human Rights Day. I feel so much honor and responsibility. There are still in some autocratic countries whose people are unable to share the rights that we enjoy today, and therefore, our freedom and survival are imperfect.
China and Vietnam are neighbors geographically and are both among the four countries under the communist slavery regime, the four countries being China, Vietnam, Cuba and North Korea. We are obligated to help the people there to get rid of the misery under the communist slavery and get human rights and freedom. This is our common fate. Let us undertake the task with joint hands!
We have realized clearly that your happiness is our happiness and your miseries are our miseries, and your achievements are our achievements, too. We have so much in common. It the big family of the world democratic front, our pursuit for democracy and human rights is not only for protecting the human right values of the mother country’s compatriots but also for protecting world peace and dignity.
The harder our road is the more valuable our contribution to democracy and human rights will appear. What we demonstrate is the pace of a civilized society. We are overcoming one after another autocratic system. As long as we make continuous efforts, we will surely establish a democratic China as well as a democratic Vietnam in the end!
I hereby propose that we must not only fight our own battles, we will also establish a democratic confederation for all Asian countries and fight shoulder by shoulder with all the democratic forces on the globe in an effort to eliminate communism and destroy the hotbed of international terrorism, and make the whole mankind to become brothers and sisters.
For this purpose, we must firstly motivate the people within the autocratic countries and spread to them human right consciousness and democratic ideals and vigorously support their struggle for protecting their own rights and provide them with actualized humane assistance and financial support. In the meanwhile, recruit among them members into our democratic team. In this way, once domestic democratic conditions mature, those members in the democratic teams will immediately throw themselves into the work to establish democratic political system and eliminate corruption and social injustice in autocratic societies at an earlier date and actualize the human right treaties passed by the United Nations.
Secondly, we carry out democratic enlightenment and human right education to the nationals who came here overseas in the democratic society as the United States. We offer democratic ideal sessions to them each month to prevent them from being threatened, bribed, controlled or taken advantage of by consulate officers sent by the autocratic countries and their spies and agents, who are engaged in destructive activities that endangered American democracy. We also make use the multiple connections between these nationals and domestic people within their countries to promote the democratic process inside the autocratic countries.
To accomplish the above two goals, members of our China Democracy Party World Union have in recent years made donations in the amount of over 50,000 for the democratic activists within China to help them strive for human rights and practice democratic activities. In the meantime, in spite of the weather or seasons, we go each month to the Chinese Consulate in New York for demonstrations and protests and exert pressure to CCP autocratic government and voice for the suffering compatriots within China.
At the same time, we develop a self-sacrifice spirit to rely on ourselves to create, with little exterior support, the only Chinese democratic newspaper in the world. It has a beautiful name—China Democracy Journal. It has been published worldwide for three years and played an awakening role in the Chinese world. Its mailboxes and websites suffered destruction by CCP agents for many times and I myself suffered death threats from CCP agents for as many as over 100 times. Some guys came to inquire about our background supports, for in their ways of thinking, there are people who make money by publishing a democratic journal and there is no one who will start a journal at his own cost. In reality, our journal relies totally on our dedicative spirit because we believe this is the seed of democracy and sooner or later it will grow to be a democratic country.
We firmly believe no matter where we are, we exist as a member of the global village. This is reality and an ideal, too. We will not only promote democratic process of autocratic countries, we will also protect America from threats and damages of terrorism and extremists and protect the democracy that we share in common—and the world with both happiness and dignity will come beside all the mankind. And the four communist countries will surely transform into democratic countries!
Ladies and gentlemen, Let us make joint efforts to build a wonderful global village!
Thank you!
Jun Wang
