Video : Address by Mr. Jun Wang,In U.S. Congress on the Commemoration of the Vietnam Human Rights Day
From 10:00am to 3:00pm on May 11, 2010, commemoration of “16th Anniversary of Vietnam Human Rights Day” was held in US Congress in capital of US, Washington DC. Several US congressmen, panels made up by specialists from some non-governmental organizations, members of human rights teams and representatives from brand fields attended this conference. US congressmen and attendants of this conference discussed in detail on problems of the deteriorating human rights, democracy, legislation, press freedom and religion freedom in many areas in poverty of this world.
16 years ago, US Congress determined May 11 as Vietnam Human Rights Day, which shows the support from US for the basic human rights and freedom in Vietnam. US Congress held forums on specific topics and a ceremony to commemorate. US congressmen, labor leaders, non-government organization members and representatives of Vietnam community participated in the conference. This day signals the most brilliant historical moment in the human rights promotion movements of Vietnam. On May 11 of 1990, Vietnam MD Ruan, Dan published Vietnam Non-violent Movements Declaration, which promotes a peaceful opposition to oppression and appeals government to respect basic human rights, accept multi-party rule political system and allow a free and equal national election. Doctor Ruan, Dan and his colleagues were arrested and sentenced on crime “Oppose Nation”. After he was leased in 2005, he was always strictly supervised by Vietnam authority.
Chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, publisher of “China Democracy Journal” Mr.Jun Wang lead 85 members to attend the conference under invitation from the hosts of this commemoration of “16th Anniversary of Vietnam Human Rights Day”. He delivered a spectacular speech in the meeting (contents will be uncovered later). Meanwhile, he introduced issue 16 “China Democracy Journal”, which thoroughly reported “15th Anniversary of Vietnam Human Rights Day”. He promised that “China Democracy Journal” will continue to report the vivid scene of “16th Anniversary of Vietnam Human Rights Day”.
Mr. Jun Wang and 85 members of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union went before the platform of the meeting and were welcomed by US congressmen and representatives in the commemoration. The applause kept on and on.

女士们、先生们：
我们很欣慰的又一次见面了！大家好。
今天来到美国国会殿堂，参加“越南人权日16周年”纪念会（ the Sixteenth Commemoration of Vietnam Human Rights Day ），我感到十分荣幸，同时也感到责任的重大：因为，还有一些专制国家的人民不能分享我们今天的权利，所以，我们自由的生存就还是不够完善。
中国和越南在地理上是邻居，在政治上是还在共产党奴役之下的四个国家之一，这四个国家就是中国、越南、古巴、北朝鲜，我们有责任，去帮助那里的人民，摆脱共产党奴役的苦难，获得人权和自由，这是我们共同的命运，让我们一道来承担它！
我们清楚的认识到，你们的幸福就是我们的幸福，你们的痛苦就是我们的痛苦，你们的希望就是我们的希望，你们的成就就是我们的成就。我们休戚与共，在世界民主阵营的大家庭里，今天我们追求民主和人权，不仅是在捍卫本国同胞的人权价值，也是在保卫世界的和平与尊严。
我们的道路越是艰难，我们对民主和人权的贡献就越显得珍贵，我们所体现的乃是文明社会的步伐，我们正在克服一个一个的专制制度，只要努力不懈，我们最终能建立民主中国、和民主越南！
在此我号召，我们不仅要各自为战，还要成立一个亚洲各国的民主联盟，和全球所有民主力量并肩作战，共同致力于消除共产主义、铲除国际恐怖主义的温床，使全体人类成为兄弟姐妹。
为此，我们首先动员每个专制国家内部的人民，向他们传播人权意识和民主思想，大力支持他们维护自身权利的斗争，并且向他们提供具体的人道援助和财政支持，同时，在他们之中发展我们民主团队的成员。这样，一旦国内民主化条件成熟，民主团队的成员就可以立即投入建设民主政治制度的工作，尽早在专制社会铲除腐败和社会不公，落实联合国通过的各项人权公约。
其次，我们在海外、在美国这样的民主社会里，对国内来的侨民进行了民主启蒙和人权教育，每个月给他们开设民主理念课，以免他们受到专制国家派驻美国的领事馆官员及其收买的特务间谍的恐吓、收买、控制、利用，从事危害美国民主的破坏活动。同时我们还运用这些侨民和国内的多重联系，来推动专制国家内部的民主化进程。
为了实现上述两点，几年来我们中国民主党世界同盟的成员，向中国国内的民主活动人士捐助了五万多美元的款项，帮助他们争取人权、从事民主活动。同时，我们不管刮风下雨、春夏秋冬，坚持每个月都去中国驻纽约领事馆前进行示威抗议活动，向中共专制政权施加压力、为国内受苦同胞发出声音。
与此同时，我们还发扬了自我牺牲的精神，在缺乏外部支援的条件下，自力更生，创办了中文世界唯一的民主报纸——她美丽的名字就叫《中国民主报》，到现在已经在全球各地发行了三年。《中国民主报》在中文世界起到了振聋发聩的作用，以致报箱和网站多次遭到中共特务的破坏，我本人也受到来自中共特务的死亡威胁高达100多次，有人前来了解我们到底有何背景支持，因为按照他们的思路，只有通过创办民主刊物赚钱的，不会自己出钱办报的，其实我们办报完全依靠自己的奉献精神。因为我们相信，这是民主的种子，总有一天她能成长为一个民主国家。
我们坚信：不论我们身在何处，我们都是作为地球村的一个成员而存在的。这是一个现实，也是一个理想。我们不仅要推动专制国家的民主化，也要保护美国免受恐怖主义和各种极端主义的危害，保卫我们共同的民主——那样一个既有幸福又有尊严的世界，就会来到全体人类的身边。中国、越南、古巴、北朝鲜，这四个共产党国家一定会演变成为民主国家！
女士们、先生们：一个美好的地球村，有待于我们的共同努力！
