A Rally for “Stop Persecution! Oppose Violence!”in front of the White House
At 2 PM on July 23, 2010, nearly 60 members of China Democratic Party and the China Democracy party World Union went to the White House in Washington DC to participate in the rally, appealing for the US Government and the international community to put an end to the CCP’s long-term persecution on Falun Gong. At the same time strongly protest against the CCP Government’s long-term persecution on China Democracy Party members.
Mr. Wang, Jun, chairman of the China Democracy Party, the China Democracy party World Union and proprietor of China Democracy Journal attended the rally held in front the White House and made a brief speech on it. Mr. Wang, Jun said we, members of the China Democracy Party, gather again in front of the White House, supporting the Falun Gong practitioners. Ever since the establishment of CCP, it has carried out political movements on big scale, making numerous Chinese people lost their lives. The one treated with the most brutal methods is violent repression on Falun Gong organizations, which has the largest number of people persecuted. For 11 years, cruel repression and persecution of the CCP not only has not succeed making the Falun Gong practitioners surrender but also made Falun Gong organizations and practitioners more persistent.
Chairman Wang, Jun said that we protest against the CCP authorities’ long-term use of violence to repress the CDP members and the CDP organizations. Until now still many Democrats were captured and put into jail by the CCP authorities. The Chinese Democratic Party and the China Democracy party World Union requested the CCP authorities to cease all persecution and immediately release all detained China Democracy Party members. We also require the CCP authorities to immediately stop the arrest, detention of petition activists.
