Wu, Yilong, male, was born on May 1, 1964, ancestral hometown is Tongcheng city, Anhui province.
He graduated from the department of Chinese language and literature at Anhui University in 1991, was a student activity backbone during the June Fourth Democratic Movements in 1989.
He studied a master degree at Zhejiang University in 1996, and organized social issue salon during his study period.
In March of 1998, he prepared and planed “Hangzhou Three Union Reading Group”.
Wu, Yilong is one of the important establishers of the China Democracy Party, and he is a spokesman and liaison of Zhejiang preparatory committee of China Democracy Party.
He was officially arrested by the Chinese government on Sep 15, 1999. In October of 1999, the Chinese government sentenced him to 11 years imprisonment for the crime of subverting the state’s political power, and deprived him of political right for three years.
On September 14, 2010, Wu, Yilong was released after serving an 11-year prison sentence.
吴义龙 男 1964年5月1日出生,祖籍安徽桐城。
1991年毕业于安徽大学中文系,系89六四民主运动时的学运骨干。
1996年进入浙江大学攻读硕士学位,在读研期间组织社会问题沙龙。
1998年3月酝酿筹备“杭州三联读书会”。
吴义龙是中国民主党的重要组建者之一,是中国民主党浙江筹委会的发言人和联系人。
1999年9月15日被中共政府正式逮捕,1999年10月中共政府以“颠覆国家政权罪”将吴义龙先生判刑11年,剥夺政治权利3年。
2010年9月14日,吴义龙先生结束11年刑期后被释放。 |
