Three Fujian Netizens Yanqiong Fan(范燕琼), Huaying Wu(吴华英), and Jingyou You(游精佑)
On April 16, 2010, three Fujian netizens Yanqiong Fan, Huaying Wu, and Jingyou You were sentenced with the crime of “malicious accusation” by the Chinese government. Yanqiong Fan was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment, Jingyou You and Huaying Wu were sentenced to 1 year imprisonment.
In the evening of February, 11, 2008, a young lady named Xiaolin Yan from Minqing county of Fuzhou city, was forced to do prostitution by gang-related institute and died of being joint-raped. Her mother Xiuying Lin appealed to the higher authorities for help, but had no results.
In June, 2008, Xiuying Lin met Yanqiong Fan, Huaying Wu, and Jingyou You, they promised to help Lin to redress the injustice on her daughter. On June 22, they edited Xiaoling Yan’s case provided by Lin, Xiuying to an article and a video named <Xiaoling Yan from Minqing, is much more miserable than Yujiao Deng in Badong>, and published them on the internet. The post spreaded rapidly through the internet and brought many comments and anger from netizens. Then in the end of June, Yanqiong Fan, Huaying Wu, and Jingyou You were held in custody for the crime of “libel” by the Fujian police, and they were arrested due to false accusation on July, 31.
福建三网民范燕琼、吴华英、游精佑
2010年4月16日，福建三网民范燕琼、吴华英、游精佑被中共当局以“诬告陷害罪”判刑，范燕琼被判处有期徒刑二年，游精佑、吴华英被判处有期徒刑各一年。
2008年2月11日晚，福州市闽清县女青年严晓玲被黑社会性质组织胁迫卖淫，“惨遭八人轮奸”致死，严晓玲的母亲林秀英四处上访无果。
2008年6月，林秀英遇到了范燕琼、吴华英、游精佑，范燕琼等答应帮助林秀英伸冤。6月22日，范燕琼等三人将林秀英提供的严晓玲案材料，整理成《闽清“严晓玲”比巴东“邓玉娇”悲惨一万倍》的文章和视频，发到互联网上，该帖子通过互联网迅速传播，经19万次的转载，引来的是众多的评论和网民的愤怒。其后的6月底，范燕琼、游精佑、吴华英被福建警方以涉嫌诽谤罪拘留，7月31日以涉嫌诬告陷害罪进行逮捕。
