On Oct 26, 2010 at 2:00 pm, Seminar “China has to implement democratic election” was held in “China Democracy Journal”. Mr. Wang,Jun, Chairman of China Democracy Party, proprietor of “China Democracy Journal” made a speech, he said, the theme of today’s seminar is “China has to implement democratic election”， whether China can realize democratic election is the key to the success of political reform. Chinese people nowadays face no human rights, no equality and justice, autocratic government without general election. Anti CPC, and pursue democratic freedom become a common wish for every Chinese people. For over 60 years, Chinese people’s life have been tougher, poorer life, and totally lost popular support. Does Chinese society nowadays need democratic election? When will the democratic election begin? Please CDP members discuss carefully, and express opinions. The seminar was hosted by Qiu,Gengmin, the CDP minister of organization department. CDP member Jiang,Pu, Huang,Jianbing, Zhao,Yingshun, Zhou,Wangbao, Chen,Longqing spoke at the seminar. More than 60 CDP members attended the seminar.

CDP members took the floor one after another, they thought, in Chinese society right now, CPC government doesn’t allow any kind of democratic election. In all kinds of elections every year, people has no saying over the determination of candidates, government officials use“black case work”, which is not democratic election at all. Election like this is actually just going through the motions. Government still has to call this “generation of democracy.”
Every Chinese citizen hopes a secure, prosperous, and free environment, and CPC government can only bring security, prosperity, and limited freedom to a few people; because government officials are not elected by people, their power are granted by CPC; officials have absolute power that lacks supervision, and appeared corruption, scrambling for power and profit, oppressing the masses.
The principle of democratic election is very simple, the minority comply with the majority, and protect rights of the minority at the same time. No matter it’s government or regime, the majority counts. Those attended all agreed: China has to implement democratic election, people should elect government, and officials have to determine who is in office by votes. Only by this, all officials can accept people’s supervision; government can bring power back to people.
