Chairman Wang,Jun attended “The Epoch Times 10th anniversary Banquet”
At 7:00 pm on October 29, 2010, The Epoch Times 10th anniversary Banquet was held at Terrace On the Park in Flushing, New York. Over 500 people across the districts attended the banquet. Mr. Wang,Jun, chairman of China DemocracyParty (CDP) and proprietor of China Democracy Journal, Qiu,Gengmin, the minister of organization departmentof CDP, and reporters of China Democracy Journal attended the banquet.
Congressman of New York Micheal Benjamin issued award for “The Epoch Times”. Two mayors, 61federal members from NY and Connecticut, senators and NY city councilors sent congratulation letters to “The Epoch Times”. Congressman Carolyn Maloney awarded Tony Avela with “Outsanding Leadership Award” and Martha Flores-Vazquez with “Maintenance of public interests Award”.
Gao,Zhenqun, ambassador of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office representative in NY, Wu,Quanshuo, chairman of CCBA, Du,Baide, director general of Chinese federation of commerce in Flushing, He,Longhua of NY Korean Association and other leaders all praised and congratulated the continuous efforts and achievements of “The Epoch Times”. “The Epoch Times” NY branch also invited city councilor Gu,Yaming to award “Outstanding service award” to Pravina Raghavan, director of Federal Small Businesses in NY district and “Community Service award” to Chinese agent Guo,Manli.
The banquet arranged masterful performances with dances and drawings in the end. The prizes included 888 dollar in cash and 42 inches Sony TV by Chinese federation of commerce in Flushing. Guests shared the 10th birthday of “The Epoch Times” in the end.
