Media reported: At 3:00 pm on Nov 30, 2010, around ten real estate developers and personnel in demolition office went to Zhou,Daming’s house in Huang,Pu, Shanghai, presented a demolition notice, the 48 year-old Zhou,Daming requested them to show their ID, but he was beaten till suffocated, Zhou’s sister dialed the alarm number, and they fled the scene, then the ambulance rushed to the scene and the doctor announced his death on the spot.

Picture 2. Zhou’s sister expressed that at 3:30 pm on Nov 30, 2010, 11 or 12 demolition personnel visited their property, only Zhou and her brother were there. Demolition personnel gave them a notice after entrance, and pointed out to tear down the property by force, that was their first time to receive the demolition force. Because the property belongs to Zhou’s parents, after their parents dead, the property was divided equally among their three children, but the demolition office overthrew the judge verdict and had forced demolition notice. Zhou didn’t conform to the order and demanded an explanation, and resulted in beats and blows, Zhou’s sister called the police but the police arrived the scene at least 15 minutes later, and Zhou who had high blood pressure had already suffocated and 120 announced his death on the spot.
Forced demolition of CCP is common for many people in China, in this autocratic country with one party regime, power substitutes law, the constitution just exists in name only, there is no way to restrict and supervise rule of men by the government. For all these years, officials of various levels like face projects, build high buildings, public squares, lavish city construction; officials collide with project contractors, and with the flag of developing economy and build beautiful cities to force people abandon their houses and exert violence to those who oppose demolition.
Most Chinese people can understand city planning of the government, they know very clear in their mind that there is no condition to reconcile for demolition orders, and those who don’t follow orders have no good ends; they are afraid of getting arrested, taken into custody, and afraid of violence; even though demolition is not fair and not rational, demolition contracts are very strict, and many people have to follow government orders. Some people are concerned about forced demolition and no place to live. Therefore, some people oppose when they face forced demolition, thus appeared opposition between officials and civilians, and even bloodshed and death. Zhou,Daming in Huang,Pu Shanghai who was persecuted to death is a good example.

Picture 3. Chairman of China Democracy Party, proprietor of “China Democracy Journal” pointed out at the rally that forced demolition is very common in China, CCP on one hand advocates people-oriented and establish a harmonious society; on the other hand tear down residents’ houses by force which make many people homeless. Such actions arose strong dislike among people, and people think the government fails to keep faith.

Picture 4. Wang,Jun said, China is a member state of UN, and has obligation to abide by “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” issued by UN, CCP must realize the promise to improve human rights, guarantee basic human rights of Chinese people. The thing we should do now is to reform demolition policies, and improve irrational demolition articles, abandon forced demolition with violence, and replace rule of men with rule of law.

Such actions arose strong dislike among people, and people think the government fails to keep faith. When interests of common people are seriously violated, actions oppose government are sure to appear, they can only maintain their rights at the cost of their lives. CDP warns CCP why so many people oppose forced demolition regardless of arrests, bloodshed and death? As the so called people’s government, it could not pretend deaf and dumb, and gets its own way, CCP must seriously think this problem.
