Unbridled sorrow for Mr. Si,Tuhua
All CDP members are griefed when heard that Hong Kong Alliance chairman Si,Tuhua passes away. Wang,Jun, Chiarman of China Democracy Party, proprietor of “China Democracy Journal” and all CDP members expressed profound condolences for Mr. Si,Tuhua’s death, and also condolences for his relatives and friends of Hong Kong Alliance.
On Jan 2, 2011, senior statesman of the Hong Kong Democratic Party, Alliance chairman Si,Tuhua died of cancer in the hospital, he finally finished his struggling life at the age of 79.

Si,Tuhua (Szeto Wah, Feb 28, 1931 to Jan 2, 2011), nickname uncle Hua, was born in Hong Kong, ancestral home is in KaiPing,Guangdong, Hong Kong Democratic Party and chairman of the Alliance, he is considered the senior statesman of Hong Kong democratic party, Si,Tuhua had been teaching for 9 years and been the principal for 31 years, with students everywhere. In 1989, CCP persecuted the democratic movement of “June 4th”, Si,Tuhua and Li,Zhuming quit the foundamental law draft committee, and organized the allience, actively took part in democtatic movements in mainland and Hong Kong democratic reform, Hong Kong people all recognize Si,Tuhua and Li,Zhuming as the first ones who fight for democracy.

For many years, Si,Tuhua insisted on his opinions, he thought, the free and democratic development in Hong Kong is full of obstables, the source of the problem is China is a autocratic country, Chinese government doesn’t want to see the free and democratic development in Hong Kong. The political reform in mainland China must head for democracy, and democracy in Hong Kong can have space for development.
Mr. Si,Tuhua is very confident about the future of democratic movement in China, for many years, Mr. Si,Tuhua and the Alliance he lead made many contributions to the democracy and freedom in Hong Kong, and made great efforts to promote the democratic cause in China.
