Mr.Hu, Mingjun was born on June 28, 1963, in Leshan city Sichuan Province, Han nationality. He graduated from Sichuan Panzhihua Jianzhu Gongcheng University, was a main member of the China Democracy Party in Sichuan. On December 18, 2000, Mr. Hu,Mingjun, Mr. Wangsen and some other people organized over 1000 workers from Sichuan Dazhou Steel Plant in the name of China Democracy Party members to take a street demonstration, protesting that the company default workers’ wages over one year, asking them to pay immediately. Meanwhile, the China Democracy Party in Sichuan issued a statement that they would strongly support the demonstrations. On April 30, 2001, a main member of China Democracy Party in Sichuan Mr. Wangsen was arrested by Chinese police in Dazhou, Sichuan. A month later, on May 29, 2001, Mr. Hu,Mingjun was also arrested by Chinese police there. On May 30, 2002, Mr. Wang, Sen and Mr. Hu,Mingjun was sentenced to 10 years and 11 years in prison respectively following the charge of “subversion of State power”. Mr. Wangsen was released on July 2, 2010.
胡明君先生1963年6月28日出生，汉族，四川省乐山市人，毕业于四川省攀枝花市建筑工程学校，中国民主党四川党部主要成员。
2000年12月18日，胡明君与王森先生等人以中国民主党成员的身份组织四川达州钢铁厂一千多名工人上街示威游行，抗议厂方拖欠工人工资长达一年之久，并要求立即补发所欠工资。同时，中国民主党四川党部发表声明，坚决支持工人的示威行动。2001年4月30日，中国民主党四川党部主要成员王森先生在达州被中共警方抓捕。一个月后，2001年5月29日，胡明君先生也被中共达州警方抓捕。王森、胡明君在一年后的2002年5月30日，被中共当局以“颠覆国家政权罪”分别判处有期徒刑10年、11年。王森先生在2010年7月2日被释放出狱。
胡明君先生在2002年5月30日被判刑，在监狱里经历了漫长的11年，终于在2012年5月28日刑满释放出狱。
