The President of Southeast Asia Coalition Dr. Hai Van Ha Visited the Office of China Democracy Journal
Around 10am, on August 4, 2012, the President of Southeast Asia coalition Dr. Hai Van Ha visited the office of China Democracy Journal. The President of China Democracy Party and Proprietor of China Democracy Journal Mr. Wang, Jun warmly received his visit.
The President of Southeast Asia Coalition Dr. Hai Van Ha expressed his purpose of the visit to Mr. Wang, Jun. He said, “I want to know what China Democracy Party under the leadership of you would do lately, especially to help the people in China. And we saw many demonstrations held these days in China, for example, the protest in Hong Kong. What will China Democracy Party do to support these activities, to help China’s democratic movement?”
Chairman Wang, Jun answered, “First, the China Democracy Party in China totally support and participate in these democratic movements. We always donate money to China Democrats persecuted in China and their families. This work has lasted for many years. Second, every month we will hold at least two rallies in front of the China Consulate General in New York. Each year, we would attend rallies held in Washington D.C. and the U.S. Congress Human Rights Hearing. We call American government and the international society to support China’s democracy.”
In particular, Chairman Wang, Jun mentioned the China Democrat Mr. Wang, Sen, who is persecuted by Chinese Communist Party; he made a brief introduction about him. Chairman Wang, Jun also pointed out, over the years, the Chinese Communist government used various ways to give him life threat. Even though, he and the China Democracy Party under his leadership still continue to carry out pro-democracy movement as usual.
Mr. Hai Van Ha said, “We need to collect people’s signatures for pro-democracy movements. We can do it through internet; it is convenient, fast and effective. Then send to the White House. Once we reach the certain amount of signatures, we would be invited over. In addition, we need to give the young generation education of democracy and freedom, let them stand out. It is important to raise our voices in UN, let our voices be heard. Thus, we can make sure that no military power can kill people. And like the Tiananmen Square massacre, would never happen again. We also plan to build an office in New York, working hard on the democracy.”
Dr. Hai Van Ha committed to his people that he would not drink and would not attend parties until the moment Vietnam is free, achieving democracy and freedom. And he would also feed the people in Vietnam 3-6 month.
Then, they discussed widely on the current democratic situation around the whole world, and exchanged ideas. They talk about how to work together, fight for freedom, democracy and promote democracy in China, Cuba, North Korean, and Vietnam, help Cambodian, Laos, Burma and Mongolia for their independence. They would also work hard to protest, letting the leaders, including religious and political leaders, fight inside. Dr. Hai Van Ha also pointed out that we would have a coalition office in the UN, representing people.
At last, Dr. Hai Van Ha invited Chairman Wang, Jun to attend the important hearing held in the State House in Boston on August 31, 2012 as a VIP guest. Chairman Wang, Jun happily accept this invitation.
