Many people remain fresh memory of the world finical crisis in 2008, and through 4 years’ difficult adjustment, American economy is gradually bottoming out. In general, the economic growth in 2012 remains a slow rate, alone with the instability of economic recovery in developed countries as well as the continuous deepening of European debt crisis. In 2012, although the economy in America is gradually recovering, the unemployment rate is reducing, and the real estate market is pulling out of its slump, European economy is declining, the aftermath of the European debt crisis is continuing, which is an important factor affecting the US economy. President Obama’s re-election November 2012 had a significant meaning for re-energizing America’s economy as well as resolving the problem of unemployment. The US government is trying its best to promote economical growth, and this winter job fair supported by the Queens government was a sign of the recovery of economy, which gave confidence to the people for getting employed.
The businesses and institutions participated in the job fair includes: Board of Elections, NYS Troopers, FEMA, MTA, and the NYPD etc.
