The Rally of “Ask for the US Government and the President Obama to Pay Attention to the Imprisoned China Democracy Party Member Zhu, Yufu”
Deceber 18, 2012 at 12:30 PM, more than 60 China Democracy Party members hold a rally in front the White House in Washington DC, calling for the US government and the President Obama to pay attention to the imprisoned China Democracy Party member Mr. Zhu, Yufu, asking for immediate release of China Democracy Party member Zhu, Yufu by the Chinese government, demanding the new generation Communist leaders to promote democratic political reform and practice multi-party democratic constitutionalism, to make effects to improve the human rights situation in China. The Chairman of China Democracy Party and president of China Democracy Journal attends today’s rally and delivers an important speech.
One of the founders of China Democracy Party, important leader of Zhejiang China Democracy Party, Mr. Zhu, Yufu was heavily sentenced 7 years imprisonment for “inciting to subvert the state power” by the Communist government after 9 years imprisonment in China’s prison. The imprisonment of Mr. Zhu, Yufu dues to his speech, in February 2011, he published a poem entitled “It is the time” to support the “Jasmine revolution” in China, which lead to his arrest and 7 years imprisonment sentence.

The Chairman of China Democracy Party and President of China Democracy Journal, Wang, Jun announced in the rally that, on November 7, 2012, President Obama won his re-election, as the president of China Democracy Party, I express my warmest congratulations to him. The re-election of President Obama has a critical significance in promoting world economy, protecting world peace and stabilizing the political pattern of the world. Just after 10 days of President Obama’s re-election, the Communist Party of China elected its new leaders, and we 60 China Democracy Party members hold a rally in front of the White House amid the transfer of powers in China, strongly urging the Communist government to obey the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, to practically improve the human rights situation in China. Meanwhile, we call for the President Obama and the International community to continue concerning about the human rights situation in China.
The Communist government has long persecuted China Democracy Party members, dissidents, human rights activists and religious persons; strictly contained the freedom of speech, not allowing the people to utter different voices; wantonly arrested or repatriated petitioners. Using violence is the essential feature of authoritarian regime, where the law is just a decoration, and the rule of man has replaced the rule of law. On February 10, 2012, after 9 years imprisonment, China Democracy Party member Mr. Zhu, Yufu was sentenced 7 years imprisonment again, which shows that the Communist government is a lawless government. We protest the long persecution to China Democracy Party member Zhu, Yufu by the Communist government, and strongly urge the Communist government to allow Zhu, Yufu to receive medical parole, guaranteeing Mr. Zhu’s personal safety.
