On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the issue of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nation, China Democracy Party members come and hold a rally in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington DC, demanding the Chinese government to allow China Democracy Party member Zhu, Yufu to receive medical parole. Mr. Zhu, Yufu was heavily sentenced 7 years imprisonment for “inciting to subvert the state power” by the Communist government after 9 years imprisonment in China’s prison. The incrimination for Zhu, Yufu’s speech and the heavy sentence are the products of China’s single-party authoritarian ruled by the Communist Party that without human rights, rule of law, fairness and justice.
Every individual living in Chinese society is endowed with various rights by the constitution, among which the most basic right is the human rights. China is a country ruled by people, the constitution is merely a scrap of paper, when exercising their powers, government officials could willfully infringe people’s rights, and the Chinese people have no human rights at all. For such a country where frequently occurs Human Rights violations, the U.N. Human Rights Council calls it nasty human rights record country. For this reason, China Democracy Party hopes the new generation leaders of the Communist Party could carry out practical works to improve the human-rights situation in China.
