On March 5th, 2013 at 11am, the members of China Democracy Party (CDP) members were gathered in front of Chinese Consulate General in New York, and launched a rally in the theme of “Strongly Protest the CCP Government Persecuting CDP Members and Dissidents!”, “Request to establish the Democratic system of Multi-party ruling in China”, and “Strongly Urge the CCP to Release an Important CDP Leader Yufu Zhu!” The chairman of <<China Democracy Journal>> Mr. Jun Wang attended and also gave the speech in rally.
Mr. Zhu, Yufu is one of the founders of China Democracy Party, who was born on Feb 13, 1953 in Zhenjiang province China, and he is now 60-years old. Zhu acts as an important CDP leader in Zhejiang province. He established a democratic publication “Apr 5 Monthly Magazine” in 1979; in June, 1998, he actively participated in the preparatory work of CDP, and after CDP Zhejiang Preparatory Committee was established on Jun 25, 1998. On Nov 8, 1998, Zhu was elected as secretary-general of CDP Zhejiang Preparatory Committee, and the Chinese National Preparatory Committee member. On Sep 15, 1999, he was arrested by CCP regime and sentenced for 7-years imprisonment in the name of “Inciting subversion of state power”, and being released on Sep 15, 2006. In April, 2007, Zhu was charged of “interference with public servant” and sentenced for 2-years imprisonment by CCP regime, and was released on Apr 18, 2009. On March 5, 2011, Mr. Zhu, Yufu once again being took away from home by CCP police, and under arrested in the charge of “Inciting subversion of state power”. Zhu was charged with “Inciting subversion of state power” by CCP on Jan 17, 2012. On Feb 10, 2012, Mr. Zhu Yufu, who had been in jail for 9 years, was heavily sentenced by CCP government for 7 years.
Mr. Zhu, Jufu is the old friend of chairman of China Democracy Party Mr. Jun Wang. Mr. Zhu, Yufu said that Democracy could not fall off from heaven, and he will spend his whole life to fight for changing the unreasonable things in China society. He will let all over the world to know what happened in Chinese jail. Mr. Zhu, Yufu also said that establish democracy must face sacrifice and imprisonment and have to prepare for death in the jail. Mr. Zhu, Yufu is arrested by CCP government for three times, which shows Mr. Zhu, Yufu is fearless of death for democracy career.

He also wrote the letter to U.S. President Mr. Obama, invoked to pay attention on saving the member of China Democracy Party Mr. Zhu, Yufu.

On Nov. 27th, 2012, China Democracy Party members were gathered in front of China Consulate-General in Now York in the storm. The rally strongly urges CCP to allow the China Democracy Party member Mr. Zhu, Yufu to take medical parole. On Dec. 18th, 2012, part of China Democracy Party members held the protest activity in front of the Whitehouse and U.S. Congress to strongly urge the CCP government allowed the China Democracy Party member Mr. Zhu, Yufu to take medical parole. On the same day, China Democracy Party members held the rally in front of U.S. Congress and Ask for the US Government and the President Obama to Pay Attention on the Imprisoned China Democracy Party Member Zhu, Yufu. Hope the CCP government could comply with humanism and allow Mr. Zhu, Yufu to take medical parole and accept medical treatment out of prison. However, CCP government rejected the application of taking medical parole for Mr. Zhu, Yufu from Mr. Zhu’s wife Mrs. Jiang, Kangli.
Mr. Zhu, Yufu’s younger sisters Ms. Zhu, Yanmin, Zhu, Xiaoyan and his younger brother Mr. Zhu, Qiaofu could not endure the persecution monitor from CCP government, so they escaped from China and arrived in L.A. United States on Feb. 21th, 2013. They strongly urge International Community to pay attention on Mr. Zhu, Yufu, and they will ask the Human-rights Council of United Nations and U.S. Congress for help. Ms. Zhu, Xiaoyan said she will accept the interview of international media about the situation of Mr. Zhu, Yufu and his family suffering persecution. On Feb. 23th, 2013, they got in touch with chairman of China Democracy Party Mr. Jun Wang, and China Democracy Party will give the help to them.
