From 11am to 12:30 am on June 4, 2013, some China Democracy Party members held a Picture exhibition and a speech in commemorating of the 24th anniversary of June 4th massacre in front of China Consulate General. The chairman of China Democratic Party and Proprietor of China Democracy Journal Mr. Wang, Jun hosted this rally.
On June 4, 1989, a student movement happened in Tiananmen Square in Beijing and other places all over the China. The majority of the students and people held banners showing they want democracy, they want freedom, they want rule of law and they want anti-corruption. This movement begins with a hunger strike to protest against corruption and demand political reforms, it ends with bloody crackdown, and many young participants lose precious lives. Though it has passed 24 years, the June 4th event is still heartbroken. Today, China Democracy Party held Picture exhibition in commemorating of the 24th anniversary of June 4th event in front of China Consulate General. Our purpose is to remember clearly what have happened 24 years ago on Tiananmen Square. All these moving pictures let people see the time when Chinese Communist dictators ordered the army with tanks and machine guns massacred unarmed students and the people, let people relearn the history, and know the truth, know the real Chinese Communist dictatorship government.

Today, we use the way of photo exhibition once again to commemorate the June 4th massacre, so that people can once again face the truth. People can see how the Chinese government mobilizes the armed forces, see the bloody images of the Chinese government use violent means to kill and punish students and the public who asked for anti-corruption. June 4th this historic event has passed 24 years, the reason we commemorate it is to let the Chinese people not stop their steps, and continue to participate in the trend of fighting for democracy, freedom, human rights and the rule of law. China has a five thousand year history, and it has experienced numerous sufferings, but its desire for freedom has never changed. Even in today’s modern society, freedom is still an eternal human core value. Facts have proved that society without freedom and democracy will eventually be replaced by a democratic and free society. Let us work together to commemorate the June 4th massacre; take the courage to pursue the value of democracy and freedom, and try to establish a free and democratic China as soon as possible.

Only more people get involved in and participate in China＇s construction to build a free and democratic China. Today, our generation should not only see the historical truth clearly, but should also realize the great significance of implementing democracy and freedom in China. We should tell all the Chinese people to stop their hope on China’s totalitarian government.
