Strongly Protest that Chinese Communist Government persecute China Democracy Party Member Zhang, Lin Again
---Urge the Chinese Communist government to release all the detained China Democracy Party Members
On January 7, 2014, the temperature is about 1 degree, China Democracy Party members held a rally in front of Chinese Consulate General in New York, in the theme of “ strongly protest that Chinese Communist government persecute China Democracy Party member Zhang, Lin aigan” and “Urge the Chinese Communist government to release all the detained China Democracy Party Members”.
Under such cold weather, China Democracy Party members read articles expressing their political petition, and shout slogans of democracy.
As China Democracy Party members, we sincerely hope that China can achieve democracy as soon as possible. Chinese people can have human rights, and there is no human made persecution in China. Then China can really fit in the modern civilization, and become stronger.
Currently, if Chinese Communist government can stop their persecution toward Mr. Zhang, Lin, it can be the sign of China walking towards civilization.
On this rally, China Democracy Party spoke highly of Mr. Zhang, Lin, who firmly pursue democracy and against persecution. Mr. Zhang, Lin is not only the role model of China Democracy Party members, but also the role model of all the people in China.
China Democracy Party member Mr. Zhang, Lin never gives up. He was arrested by Chinese Communist government over ten times, and the totally time of his prison time, detention time is over 13 years. Mr. Zhang, Lin devoted all his youth and wisdom to the democracy in China.
On December 18, 2013, China Democracy Party member Mr. Zhang, Lin was forced to a trail in Bengbu, Anhui Province. He was charged with “gathering people to disturb public places order “ by Chinese Communist government. The activists would want to testify for Mr. Zhang, Lin were expelled by Chinese police. Diplomats from three different countries who wish to attend the trail were also rejected. The trail began from 8:30 am and ended at 3pm; the judge announced that the result would be announced in another date.
During the trail, the China central court strengthened the security, and checked all the people entering the courtroom very carefully. It was very strictly defensive outside the court; the police blocked all the vehicle and pedestrian accesses. During the whole trial, there was no transparency at all. It was under an unfair situation that Mr. Zhang, Lin was forced to go to the court. Here is how everything happened. In the afternoon of February 27th, 2013, Mr. Zhang, Lin’s 10 year old daughter Zhang, Annin was taken to Amber Hill police station by four policemen after school, and she was detained in a room by herself for as long as 3 hours. There was nobody taking care of her. That was a very sensitive time since it was right before the two important meetings in China, and Mr. Zhang, Lin was watched by Chinese Communist police in another place.
Mr. Zhang. Lin was very upset that his 10 year old daughter was detained by Chinese Communist authority, so he protested on the street and in front of the gate of Chinese communist government, and he also talked openly online of his daughter’s unfair experience. His experience and protest were supported by many people online. Some even came to support him on the scene, some even stayed there with tents. Chinese Communist prosecution accused that Mr. Zhang, Lin organized people to disturb public order, and gathered people to protest without applying. People who were involved denied this, stating that they came here spontaneously to support Mr. zhang, Lin after knowing that police had violated human rights. It is very normal for Mr. Zhang, Lin to maintain his daughter’s right; it is something that a father should do; and it is a citizen using his basic human rights. However, the Chinese Communist government arrested Mr. Zhang, Lin in the name of “gathering people to disturb public places sin order ". This is persecution in human rights.
People all believe that in the constitution amended four times since the founding of People’s Republic of China states clearly that citizens have the rights to assembly, having association and marching. However, these laws have never been approved by the approving authority. Then these laws should be swept into the dustbin of history.
It was addressed again on the rally: “strong protest that Chinese Communist government persecute China Democracy Party member Zhang, Lin again” and “Urge the Chinese Communist government to release all the detained China Democracy Party Members”.
Without persecution, China will have hope and Chinese people will have happiness!
