A supporter of political party Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), holds a sign with others condemning an attack by Taliban gunmen on the Army Public School in Peshawar, during a rally in Lahore, Dec. 21, 2014.

Pakistan's Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan says the government has information that terrorists may be planning another attack like last week's horror-filled bloodbath at a military school.

Khan gave no details of the information, but said the entire country has to stay alert. He warned mobile telephone companies that they could face terrorism charges if they issue illegal phone identification cards.

Khan also said hotel owners must check on their guests' credentials and will be held responsible if they rent rooms to a terrorist. He urged all Pakistanis to share any information they have with security agents.

Khan pointed out that the Pakistani military could have launched an all-out attack on the cities where terrorists live, but it does not want to kill civilians. He said the army does not target women and children.

Pakistani Taliban gunmen stormed a military-sponsored school in Peshawar last week, killing nearly 150 students and teachers.

The Taliban called the attack revenge for the Pakistani army's offensive against the insurgents.

Meanwhile, Pakistan executed four more Islamist militants Sunday since lifting a six-year moratorium on the death penalty.

The four convicted militants were hanged at a prison in the eastern city of Faisalabad for their role in a plot to assassinate former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf. Two others convicted in the plot were hanged Friday.

Human rights groups have condemned Pakistan's decision to reinstate executions, saying this will not stop terrorism and might even feed a “cycle of revenge."
