On Oct. 10, 2006, 2pm, Overseas Chinese in New York Celebrating Oct. 10 National Day of the Republic of China Convention was held in Zhonghua Public House in Manhattan Chinatown, New York, and Wang, Jun, chairman of China Democracy Party World Union was invited to attend the convention.

Oct. 10 National Day of the Republic of China is an important festival in Chinese history, national father Sun, Zhongshan led national revolution to overthrow thousands of years dictatorship, establish first democratic republic country in Asia and become an example of democratic movement. Democracy and autarchy, liberty and bondage are opposite. Today’s two sides of Strait: one side is democratic, free, open, striving for wealth equality, respect human right, pursuit law and love peace; the other side is autarchic and trample human right. We must be full of confidence, persist in democracy, freedom, human right and law concept, and realize great undertaking of democratic unification China, this is the goal dedicated by within and overseas Chinese together.
