CDPWU Holding a Rally “Support China Communist Official Jia, Jia’s Forsaking China Communist and Pursuing Freedom!” at the Plaza in front of United Nations
On Oct. 31, 2006, 12:30pm, more than 60 members of CDPWU held a rally “Support China Communist Official Jia, Jia’s Forsaking China Communist and Pursuing Freedom!” at the plaza in front of United Nations Building. Chairman Wang, Jun made a speech in the rally, and several members of CDPWU spoke.
Jia, Jia, general secretary of Shanxi Province Science and Technology Expert Association in mainland China dropped out at Taoyuan Airport in the evening on Oct. 22, 2006, and on Oct. 24, evening he gave himself up to the police and requested political asylum from Taiwan. After the failure of Jia, Jia’s seeking political asylum from Taiwan, he was sent under escort to Hongkong in the afternoon on Oct. 26. At present Jia, Jia was in Hongkong waiting for assistance from international society.
Jia, Jia openly expressed to media: people in mainland China generally wanted political system reformation including numerous CCP members, soldiers, policemen and whole nation. His coming out was to rely on democratic circumstance of Taiwan to do something which can’t be done and said in mainland China and realize democracy in mainland China. The democratic polity in Taiwan wouldn’t be realized unless mainland China was democratized. Jia, Jia also mentioned that democratic Taiwan’s today was mainland China’s tomorrow and the democracy of Taiwan made CCP restless.

Wang, Jun, chairman of CDPWU indicated in the rally: Mr. Jia, Jia was of great wisdom and courage. Deviating evil China communist and getting his purity back was great wisdom. Facing atrocious autarchy and calmly breaking from China communist by true name was great courage. By the encouragement of more than 14 million members quitting CCP, Jia, Jia openly broke from China communist and proved to the world by his conduct that the tide of ten millions quitting CCP was truthful and reliable. The conduct of Mr. Jia, Jia had great realistic significance and would go down in history.
