CDPWU Assembled to Demand CCP's Immediate Release of All Imprisoned CDP Activists
The morning of January 16, 2007 witnessed over 70 Chinese Democrats led by Mr.Wang Jun, Chairman of the China Democracy Party World Union, staging a protest in bitter coldness in front of the Chinese General Consulate in New York and the UN Headquarter Plaza. They strongly demand the Chinese Communist Party (CPP) to release immediately all the imprisoned CDP Activists. Chairman Wang Jun called on CDP Members to donate for CDP Activist Chen Shuqing.

CDP Activist Chen Shuqing graduated from Department of Biology of Hang Zhou University. Mr. Chen participated in the Students Movement in 1989 and is now one of the team members of the CDP Zhejiang Province Preparatory Committee. In pursuit of democracy and safeguard of human rights, Mr. Chen Shuqing has been devoted to the cause of China's democracy, freedom, human rights and legal construction. He is courageous enough to supervise the Government and the governing CCP, and to tell the truth, and has made great contributions to the progress of the Chinese Nationality. Mr. Chen Shuqing is an unbending China Democracy Party Member, the backbone of the Chinese Nationality, and the faithful son of the Chinese People. Mr. Chen Shuqing is open and aboveboard, honest and direct, dignified and just. Mr. Chen Shuqing is innocent.
Mr.Wang Jun, Chairman of China Democracy Party World Union, addressed in today's rally: CDP Members conduct public activities according to the Principles of Peace, Reason, Openness and Legality, to promote social progress and combat violence as well as terror control. Therefore, China Democracy Party World Union strongly demands the Chinese Communist Party to release immediately all the imprisoned CDP Activists. I am calling on CDP Members to make donations to these suffering CDP Activists and their family members. Let's unite to strive for the earliest termination of One-Party Autocracy and the establishment of a democratic China.
