Special Report: Strongly protest against
CCP's persecution of CDP member Zhu Yufu
--China Democracy Party World Union rallied
at the China Consulate-General New York
Strongly Demand CCP's immediately release
of all CDP members in China
On May 1, 2007 at 11:00 am, about 100 of China Democracy Party World Union members rallied in front of the China Consulate-General New York, strongly protest against the CCP＇s persecution of CDP member Mr. Mr. Zhu Yufu.
Mr, Zhu, YuFu, one of the founder of CDP in 1998, also a pioneer of democracy during the Democratic Wall Era, has suffered much due to CCP＇s persecution. Returning home after serving 7 years in prison, Mr. Zhu, YuFu was humiliated by former employer--local housing authority while trying to get back his job. HanZhou police also made the matter worse by arresting Mr. Zhu, YuFu with no reasons for serveral times.
CDPWU Chairman Wang Jun gave an important speech at the meeting. Wang Jun said : CCP government has repeatedly charged Mr. Zhu, YuFu with non-existed crimes because Mr. Zhu Yufu has become the symbol of Democracy in China. CCP fears that CDP members in China will unite and fight against CCP＇s corruption & dictatorship. Human rights movement in China now has grown vigrrously, and become unstoppable. Today facing the unstoppable trend of democracy, Chinese overseas should undertake the historical mission of promoting democracy in China.
During the meeting, CDP members wait in turns to speak up & express their heartfelt hope for a democractic China as well as their condemation of CCP dictatorship.
Also during the rally, Chairman Wang Jun called on donations to families of Wang Sen, CDP member who had suffered persecution by CCP. CDPWU delivered on the same day donations colleted of $480 to Wang Sen Family in China. CDPWU will continue to report the donation action in an effort to rescue CDP members being persecuted in China.
