CDPWU Chairman Wang, Jun’s Letter to UN Secretary General Pan, JiWen

China Democracy Party World Union Chairman: Jun Wang
CDPWU Chairman Wang, Jun’s Letter to UN Secretary General Pan, JiWen
Dear UN Secretary General Pan, JiWen:
How are you!
Your job as United Nations Secretary-General is a tremendous inspiration to the Asian people for freedom and democracy. Because you are from the recent establishment of a stable democratic system of Korea, you know clearly the totalitarian regime. In addition, the Korean democracy movement in the 1980s has also played a huge role in encouraging the Chinese democracy movement. Therefore, the Asian people, especially those still lives under the tyranny of communism place high expectations on your international human rights role.
During the time as the Director of the Office of General Assembly before, you are very familiar with the China issue. But now as United Nations Secretary-General, we would like to draw your attention to China in meeting the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Freedom of the press and civil liberties are still under the surveillance. From August 8 the countdown to the Olympic Games in 2008 in Beijing starts, while the Chinese government not only failed to give the Democrats, dissidents, human rights activists, religious activists, more personal freedom and tolerance, but almost frantically against different viewpoints or opposition voices, severely pressure Democrats, dissidents, human rights activists, religious activists in an attempt to prevent the independent media report. Because Chinese government fears its own people gossip China's political and social issues. Chinese government officials are only concerned with their own interests, concerned with how to find all sorts of excuses for corruption activities.
The New York-based "Human Rights Watch" said that although China has relaxed restrictions of foreign media interviews, but strengthen crackdown on domestic media and networks. Chinese authorities strengthen suppression of the domestic activists and media. Chinese authority’s preparations for next year’s Olympic Games lead to more forceful demolition and less compensation. Laborer’s human rights were violated and protesters were seriously persecuted. In addition, retired military doctor Jiang
Yanyong who exposed SARS epidemic in China has been banned in China, and cannot go abroad to accept the award.
Furthermore, I, as the China Democracy Party World Union Chairman currently residing in New York, in June and July received two death threats letter from CCP. I have consecutively report to the New York police. This is in the United States, simply because I and my organization advocates of democracy in China cause the dead terrorist consequences. Just because we have to end the one-party rule, establish a democratic China, there is the terrorist threat? This is completely true; the police recorded file is the evidence. Telephone intimidation and destruction of the China Democracy Party World Union website (http://www.cdpwu.org), they have not stopped in the past few years.
However, we believe: the realization of democracy in China is the trend of history! The Chinese Communist dictatorship cannot stop this trend! The Chinese people will have democracy, freedom and human rights! So we wrote to you, you, as leaders
of the international community, we hope your close attention to human rights in China. And you can ask the Chinese government to release all detained Democrats, dissidents, human rights activists, and religious people! Persecuted family will thank you! The Chinese people will thank you!
Before or after I receive the two death threats, most Democrats in China Zhejiang Province was captured and sentenced. For example Zhu Yufu was sentenced two years, Chi Jianwei three, Chen, Shuqing four years, and Lu Gengsong was arrested on the charge of "inciting subversion of state power" and "illegal possession of confidential". This is similar to South Korea Democratic people in the past, but more severe, because it in China could receive sentence to life imprisonment or even death penalty. Every time facing oppression, we will protest at the China Consulate in New York. Such as: August 30, 2007, we organized party members protest against Chinese government arrest Chen, Shuqing and strongly demand his immediate release.
The continuing deterioration of human rights in China has aroused the concern of all countries. September 3 at the 64th Italy Venice Film Festival, American actor Richard Gere also appealed to the Chinese government to improve human rights before 2008, stop the repression. He said that China's poor human rights records should be submitted to the international community discussion. The Olympic Games is a good opportunity to encourage China to stop human rights violations in Tibet and let the Himalayas people to determine their own future.
As the UN Secretary General, one of the world's most influential people, you should stand up and speak for the weak ones. We expect you to exert influence on the Chinese government, forcing them to improve China's human rights situation. For example, you can give this letter to the Chinese government representative to the United Nations, this small action will certainly improve the conditions of Chinese prisoners, help them to regain their freedom, and reunite with their families. They
and their families and the entire Chinese people will thank you, history will also record your good deeds.
Your true friends!
