——The Chairman Wang Jun Said: Showing our love and support for democratic causes in China by donation
The human rights fighter Li, Guohong has been fighting for the human rights for all unfairly-treated employees of Zhongyuan Oil Field Company (located in Poyang, Henan). On October 31, 2007, he went to the Zhongyuan Oil Field to inquire about the collective lawsuit to be filed in Beijing, launched by some used-to-be employees of the company. Before that some employees were in custody by the Police Bureau of Zhongyuan Oil Field Company. On that morning, when Li, Guohong went there for more information about the lawsuit, he was held immediately by the Police Department. Around 8:00 pm in that evening, he was sentenced to be in custody for 15 days. After the serving 15 day custody, Li, Guohong was denied to release by the police authority and was sent to the Correction Center for one and half years without further hearing.
When the Chairman of China Democracy Party Wang, Jun learned from the phone conversation that Pi, Yunxia, the wife of Li, Guohong, needed money to take the train from Sichuan Province to Poyang, Henan Province to visit her husband, the jailed Li, Guohong, he immediately expressed that in order to support the just action of human rights activist Li, Guohong, the China Democracy Party would donate $300 again to aid Pi, Yunxia to visit her husband Li, Guohong. Below is the video showing the Chairman Wang, Jun informed Pi, Yunxia of picking up the money from post office and was informed of the fund received by Pi, Yunxia, over the phone.
