CDPWU Hold Rally on China Consulate at the First Day of New Year
Today is the first day of 2008, more than 100 CDPWU members attended the rally on China Consulate in New York facing cold snow and big wind to say happy new year to Chinese human-right supporters and religious people. To say happy new year to China Democracy Party members. The rally started with CDPWU members’ sound of Happy New Year Chinese People. Jun Wang, chairman of CDPWU gave a report on the rally. It is:

Happy new year!
Today is the first day of 2008, as the delegate of CDPWU I congratulate on great Chinese people who support and pursue democracy! Congratulate on CDPWU members and their families! Congratulate on CDPWU members, who arrested by China Communist Party (CCP), and their families! Congratulate on Chinese human-right supporters and religious people! Congratulate on CDPWU members!
Last year is not a common year, CDPWU pay all attention to Chinese democracy with historic developing. The emphasis is China Mainland. CDPWU support and attend persistently Chinese democracy actions and have had good effect. We have donated money several times for human-right supporters arrested by CCP, different-view democracy people and their families, and code with every difficulty to send the money to them.

CDPWU have taken all kinds of rallies on China Embassy to America, China Consulate on New York and Chinese immigrant districts in last year. We have only one aim that is to stop CCP’s one-party dictatorship to realize democracy, freedom, human-right and law in China and set up a democratic China. CDPWU have taken rallies many times on United Nation, White House in Washington DC and Capitol Hill demanding American government and international society pay their attention to China’s democracy, make China government improve human right and support CDPWU’s effort for China’s democracy. As the delegate of CDPWU, I should say thank you to these governments, international friends and international organizations which pay attention to and support China’s democracy!
For China, 2008 is a very important year. The 29th Olympic Games will hold on Beijing at August of this year. CDPWU urge Chinese government develop and improve Chinese human-right during Olympics, demand Chinese government release all of human-right supporters, religious people, different-view people and CDPWU members who were arrested by CCP, and demand Chinese government realize its’ promise that developing and improving Chinese human-right.
In new-year, CDPWU will and must support and develop Chinese democracy persistently with our plans.
