CDPWU Hold Rally of Demand CCP Release Human Rights Defender HU, JIA
On 11 a.m. of August 26, 2008, CDPWU on China Consulate in NY hold rally to demand CCP release human rights defender HU, JIA immediately! Demand realization of democracy, freedom, human rights and rule of law! Chairman JUN WANG attends the rally and addresses.
Famous Chinese human rights defender and AIDS activity expert HU, JIA on December 27, 2007 was arrested by CCP government on crime of overthrow government. After 3 months on April 1, 2008, he was sentenced to jail by CCP for 3-year and 6-month, and was bereaved his political right for 1 year. On April 8, 2008, about one hundreds of CDPWU members held rally on China Consulate in NY protest strongly CCP arrest human rights HU, JIA! On April 15, more than 90 CDPWU members went to China Embassy in Washington DC to protest CCP arrest human rights defender HU, JIA! And in front of White House and Capitol Hill, they joined the rally and the demonstration to appeal American government and international society press CCP government to release human rights defender HU, JIA as quicky as possible.
34-year HU, JIA is famous human rights and AIDS activity expert, and has been threaten by CCP for long time. He didn’t surrender to CCP’s pressure and insist his career of environment protection and AIDS. He becomes CCP’s nail in eyes and is CCP’s goal to be pressed.

CDPWU chairman JUN WANG says on rally that human rights defender HU JIA just push his rights Constitution gives and he has no any crime. CCP government not only doesn’t support and protect HU, JIA’s common citizen behaviors, but also infringe human rights, and arrested him and sentenced him to jail.
JUN WANG says that HU, JIA wrote several articles about Chinese human rights problems and interview several times. CCP sentenced him to jail for 3-year and 6-month. This hooligan behavior shows CCP’s weak cheat. CCP has ever made promise to improve Chinese human rights before 2008 Beijing Olympics. Now 2008 Olympics was closed.
