Rally on rescuing the overseas important leader of Chinese Democracy Party-Dr. Bingzhang Wang

On Dec.12, 2008, at 11 a.m. about a hundred of CDPWU members came to Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in New York for the rally to rescue the overseas important leader of Chinese democracy party-Dr. Bingzhang Wang. Chairman of CDPWU (Chinese Democracy Party World Union) and director of Chinese Democracy Journal-Jun Wang joined this rally and presented an important speech. This activity on Public Year of rescuing Chinese victims suffering from political persecution is initiated.
In 1982, Dr. Bingzhang Wang founded journal on overseas democracy activity “Spring of China”. In 1983, he founded the first overseas democracy campaign organization-“China Democracy Union League”, and he acted as the Chairman for the first and second session. In June,1998, he acted as the consultant of overseas preparatory committee and working committee of China Democracy Party. On Feb. 2002, he acted as the consultant of overseas headquarter of China Democracy Party, being considered as the contemporary founder of overseas campaign.

In 2002, Dr. Bingzhang Wang was kidnapped and took to China by Chinese communist government, when he tried to meet people engaged in civil democracy campaigns. And then Chinese communist executed the secret request on him and sentenced him to life imprisonment as a terrorist who committed treason. Since he was put into prison, he has been tortured physically and mentally for six years. He was beaten by prison security guards, deprived of the right to meet his relatives and forced to learn for brainwashing, finally he got second degree stroke and sequelae.
Dr. Bingzhang Wang is absolutely not a terrorist who committed treason. On the contrary, he is an excellent Chinese who truly love his country and Chinese people. In the process of he founding and leading Chinese democracy campaigns, he aimed to build up Chinese democracy, insist on maintaining integrity of Chinese sovereignty and territory with firm standpoint. For Chinese democracy, freedom, human rights and legislation, he made a lot of effort and took a great risk.

There is a popular photo spread online, which shows that Dr. Bingzhang Wang, Jun Wang, Xizhe Wang, Shenqi Fu, Guoyi Zhang and other democratic people and China Democracy members protested to request Chinese communist to release the important overseas leader of China Democracy Party-Dr. Bingzhang Wang in front of Chinese embassy in Washington after they attended human-rights hearing hosted by American congress.
For many years, Chairman of Chinese Democracy Party World Union and director of China Democracy Journal-Jun Wang has been concerned about the important overseas leader of China Democracy Party-Dr. Bingzhang Wang. Chairman Jun Wang always says that Dr. Bignzhang Wang struggled, yielded and strived for Chinese democracy together for 10 years before Mr. Bingzhang Wang was arrested. And everything that they experienced is unforgettable. Now, Mr. Bingzhang Wang has been confined for almost 7 years. For his freedom we have been appealed and tried to rescue.
Photo 4: On Oct. 12, 2008, in the square of Los Angeles government building, Chairman of Chinese Democracy Party World Union-Jun Wang appealed to donate to rescue the famous democracy campaign leader and member of China Democracy Party –Dr. Bingzhang Wang at the rally on supporting 44 million of people who quit Chinese communist, and donated 500 dollars to Dr. Bingzhang Wang ‘s youngest daughter-Tianan Wang.
To try to make Mr. Bingzhang Wang acquire his freedom, During the period that Chairman of Chinese Democracy Party World Union and director of China Democracy Journal-Jun Wang joined conference of Chinese democratic campaigns held in Los Angeles, at the rally on “Perished Chinese communist gives a birth to a new China”, donated 500 dollars to Dr. Bingzhang Wang ‘s youngest daughter-Tianan Wang and initiated the movement of rescue Dr. Bingzhang Wang.
Jun Wang pointed that it has been 60 years since United Nations approved Universal Declaration of World Human Rights. In these 60 years, Chinese human-rights hasn’t been changed very much. There are guarantee items in Chinese constitution to ensure Chinese human-rights problems, however, Chinese communist government hasn’t did what it promised. Instead, it lied to the international community with frauds. In Chinese society, the events of violating human rights always happen, which shows that Chinese communist government doesn’t intend to improve human rights.
Jun Wang said: “Many United Union members presented the proposals on Chinese human rights and asked United Nation conference to urge Chinese government to improve human rights. To urge Chinese government to improve human-rights situation, some Unite Nation members made a lot of hard effort. Facing the pressure from international community, though Chinese government is forced to compromise on human rights, gradually release press freedom, and start talking with people about human rights. And also it made some progress on human rights, however, the facts show that Chinese human-rights situation can’t get changed at all, as long as one-party regime rules in China.”
And also, Jun Wang said that China Democracy Party World Union, China Democracy Journal actively support and determines 2009 as Public Year of victims suffering Chinese political persecution and executes this campaign. Today, the human-rights concepts shown by Universal Declaration of Human rights have been understood and acknowledged by Chinese people. It is cheering that Chinese people are waking up. Chinese government should comply with historic trend, stop violence, stop persecuting and improve human rights. Therefore I represent all China Democracy Party members to appeal that Chinese government complies with Universal Declaration of Human rights, and release Dr. Bingzhang Wang as soon as possible to promote progress on Chinese human rights with actual action.
Qing Pan-executive Chairman of China Freedom Democracy Party central committee and Kexue Zheng -vice Chairman of Chairman of China Freedom Democracy Party were invited to join the rally on rescuing the overseas important leader of Chinese democracy party-Dr. Bingzhang Wang.
