“Asian Human Rights” meeting was held in U.S. Congress, Washington
Theme: Deteriorating Human Rights in Asia


The meeting of which theme is “Deteriorating Human Rights in Asia” was held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 12th, February, 2009 in U.S. Congress. 21 units such as Tibetan Human Rights/Other Groups in Metro-DC, Uyghur Groups in Metro-DC and Other Areas, Global Service Center for Quitting CCP, China Democracy Groups in Metro-DC, New Tang Dynasty Television in Metro-DC, China Democracy Groups in New York, Concerned Human Rights NGOs/Faith-Based Communities in Metro-DC, Alliance for Democracy of Asians in USA such as America-Asia democracy federalism had sponsored this “Asian Human Rights”.
U.S. State Department Spokesman David Young, U.S. Congressman Loretta Sanchez, Sophie Richardson, Scott Flipse, and Michael Orona were State Department and NGOs Experts Panel and they were moderators of this meeting.
Chinese Democratic movement overseas chairman Jingsheng, Wei, Prof. Sen Nieh, Dr. Dayong Li, Executive Director of Global Service Center for Quitting Chinese Communist Party, Chairman of China Democracy Party, Proprietor of <China Democracy Journal> Jun Wang, group delegates of Tibetan, Uygur, Vietnam and Burma human rights were Asian Delegations Panel and they were moderators of this meeting.
Dr. Quan Nguyen on behalf of Coalition for Human Rights in Asia made welcoming remarks expects panel from government, U.S. Congress and NGOs and Asian Delegations Panel had a detailed discussion on the deteriorating human rights and freedom in China, Vietnam, Burma and other regions in the world.
U.S. State Department spokesman David Young attended this “Asian Human Rights” meeting in U.S. Congress in the whole journey.
