China Democracy Party(CDP) members donated for relatives of Li, Qunfang who died in car accident
In the evening of March 12, 2009, there was a car accident in Flushing, NY, a 43-year-old Sichuan woman Li, Qunfang died. At 10:00 a.m. on March 21, 2009, the memorial meeting of Li, Qunfang was held in Chun Fook Funeral Services, Flushing, NY.
A happy family is destroyed, and a nine-year-old boy lost his mother from now on. And the whole family is immersed in difficulties because of losing the only one economic source.
China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union appealled all of party members and cadres in the United States on March 16, 2009 to donate for this broken family; and meanwhile, ask for kind people to donate for them. CDP office will forward all of the donations to Li, Qunfang’s relatives.
In the afternoon of March 31, 2009, CDP members attended seminar of “Nationalization of the Armed Force” in <China Democracy Journal>, and donated for Li, Qunfang’s relatives before the seminar began. $698 was totally collected during the donation, Jun Wang, the chairman of CDP and CDPWU, and the proprietor of <China Democracy Journal> handed those donations to Li, Qunfang’s husband Mr. Huang, Xiaochun. Mr. Huang, Xiaochun thanked Chinese democrats for the kindness; and he also expressed his understanding of Chinese democrats’ actions and goals.
