CDP Members Attended Memorial Meeting of Hong Xiu Mao
--Deep Grief for Hong Xiu Mao
At 10:00 a.m. on April 12, 2009, Jun Wang, chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, the proprietor of <China Democracy Journal> led some CDP members and overseas Chinese to Binghamton to attend the memorial meeting of Hong Xiu Mao at 5:00 p.m.; though it was a long way which took ten hours to go there and back, Jun Wang tried to make time to take CDP members to the memorial meeting which indicates Chinese democratic organizations and Chinese democratic leaders care about every CDP member, and the spirit of helping each other.
Hong Xiu Mao’s husband was very impressed when he saw Jun Wang with tightly holding his hands, and didn’t want to let go.
The gunshot incident took place in beautiful town, and we can’t believe the tragedy happened in here.
Look back to April 3, 2009, Binghamton, New York, people from eight countries have been identified as the victims of a deadly rampage at an immigrant community center in Binghamton, N.Y. Police said Sunday that four of the victims were from China and two were from the United States. Two more were from Vietnam, including the gunman. Two were from Haiti. The remaining four were from Pakistan, the Philippines, Iraq and Brazil. CDP member Hong Xiu Mao died in the gunshot incident with only 35-year-old. The beautiful American dream was broken unkindly.
On April 6, 2009, Jun Wang, chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, and proprietor of <China Democracy Journal> told all CDP members to pay attention to all Chinese of their safety, and show deep grief to CDP member Hong Xiu Mao.
