Rally of “Protesting against CCP’s persecution to members of CDP” in front of Consulate-General of People’s Republic of China
----in memory of the 20th Anniversary of “June Fourth” incident, demand to punish murderers who created the massacre
Early morning of May 11, 2009, nearly 60 CDP members took a big traveling bus, heading to the capital of The United States in Washington, DC, and planned to hold a protesting event over there. They arrived at the front gate of the Consulate-General of China and started the protesting activity at noon, 12:00 pm. “Strongly protest the CCP’s persecution to CDP’s members!” “Commemorate the 20th Anniversary of ‘June Fourth’ event in 1989” “Demand punishment for murderers whom created the massacre and return fairness to victims of “June Fourth”. Jun Wang, the chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union and the president of China Democracy Journal, attended the protesting event held in front of Consulate-General of China and spoke during the event.
Jun Wang said, “This is first time we, members of CDP, held such assembly in front of Consulate –General of China in the U.S.A. We strongly protest against the persecution of CCP to members of CDP. Furthermore, we call for CCP to end the ruling of sole-party, instead to execute democratic system of multi-parties.” “Protest China Government’s usage of violence to repress members of CDP as well as the organization of CDP itself chronically, CDP ask CCP to end all the political persecutions and to release all members of CDP whom had been held immediately.

Jun Wang stated, this year is the 20th Anniversary of “June Fourth”. In 1989, government of CCP cruelly repressed the democratic activity of “June Fourth”, using tanks and machinery guns to slaughter those students and civilians whom asked for punishment of corrupt authorities and execution of democracy reformation, eventually created the bloody case of “June Fourth” that shocked the whole world. 20 years had passed, but the murderers are still away from charge and penalty. China Democracy Party demands strict punishment for those murderers whom created the massacre event, and returning of justice to the victims of “June Fourth”. China Democracy Party also calls for ending of sole-party autocratic system in China, and establishing a democratic multi-party system.
Jun Wang also pointed out,“the CCP’s sole-party autocracy system is the root of all social turbulence in China, the cause of all civilians’calamities, and fundamental cause of the blooding case of “June Fourth”. Therefore, ending the CCP’s autocratic system and establishing a multi-party democratic system is the only solution for Chinese society.
Members of CDP who participated in the rally in front of Chinese Consulate General called out slogans, “Strongly protest against CCP’s persecution to members of CDP!” “Strictly punish murderers of “June Fourth” “returning justice to victims of ‘June Fourth’” “Terminate the sole-party autocratic system and establish a democratic China” and etc. A portion of members of CDP took part in this protesting activity.
