In the afternoon on March 15, 2009, the former intelligence officer Li, Fengzhi announced to quit CCP publicly in front of Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C., USA. Chairman of Global Quitting Party Service Center Dr. Gao, Dawei granted certificate of quitting Chinese Communist Party, Group and Team to Li, Fengzhi. Then Li, Fengzhi took part in the support rally in the Mcpherson Square near the White House. Jun Wang, the chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, and the proprietor of <China Democracy Journal> lead some CDP members to Washington D.C. to attend the rally; compatriots around the White House and surrounding area came to the rally to support Mr. Li, Fengzhi to separate from CCP for choosing a bright future.
Li, Fengzhi said: “I stand here, back against Chinese Embassy, solemnly declaring that I thoroughly break with CCP, which is my conclusion through long-term and serious-minded introspection from the bottom of my heart. Meanwhile, I am also asked by my father Li, Shuzhen to read his announcement of quitting CCP on behalf of him here.” Li, Fengzhi said he felt more peaceful and relaxed since he declared his announcement of breaking with CCP. He said: “From theory and practice, I understand that CCP is actually the factor that obstructs Chinese development, and is also the evil aspect of endangering the Chinese Nation and the whole world. I am afraid that will be too late for me to stand out for delaying like this.” He thought that quitting CCP is a great job, “I hope people who really think about their country and people’s interests and who indeed consider their life should use your way, such as quit CCP anonymously or with real name. This is very important.”
Then Li, Fengzhi narrated the adventures of his mind for his decision to break away from and publicly quit CCP in the rally which held in the Mcpherson Square near the White House.
