Rally of “Donate for the Persecuted CDP Members and Dissents”
------Chairman Jun Wang Said “Donate with Warm Heart is Support to the Democracy Career in China!”
At 11am, January 26, 2010, over a hundred China Democracy Party members held a rally before China Embassy in New York. The theme of today’s rally is “Donate for the Persecuted CDP Members and Dissents”. Chairman Jun Wang emphasized for times that, “Donate with Warm Heart is Support to the Democracy Career in China!” Chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, publisher of “China Democracy Journal”, Mr. Jun Wang participated in the rally and made a public speech in the rally.
Before the Spring Festival of 2010, Chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, publisher of “China Democracy Journal”, Mr. Jun Wang concerned about the persecuted CDP members, human rights fighters and dissents inside P.R.China. He said that among CDP members inside China, many of them formerly had a happy family. However, they fought against CCP’s one-party dictatorship for long to realize democracy in China and got arrested and persecuted by CCP. Their families suffered a lot of living pressure that they work day and night to make ends meet. CDP members overseas should care about them to most and try all means to help them. Meanwhile, making donation for them and their families is another way, which can give them a pleasant Spring Festival. Chairman Jun Wang also appeal for all CDP members mail presents, cards and phone calls to CDP members and their relatives inside China in addition to donation. Chairman Jun Wang called for people from all fields to take part in the donation as well.

Issue 23 of “China Democracy Journal”, published on January 8, 2010 reported that China Democracy Party, China Democracy Party World Union and “China Democracy Journal” started the activity of “Donate for the Persecuted CDP Members and Dissents”. Chairman Jun Wang led the donation. In only 10 days, donations were sent to several relatives of CDP members arrested in China. On January 15, 2010, donation was once again sent to Mr. Rongqing Wang and the amount reached 1000 dollars.
Chairman Jun Wang said, “Donate with Warm Heart is Support to the Democracy Career in China!” The donation out of warm heart and justice can effectively promote the healthy progress of China’s democracy career. He hoped more democratic organizations and individuals to donate for China’s democracy career and care about persecuted CDP members, human rights fighters, dissents and their relatives, let them feel the warmth of the world.
From the beginning of the rally to 5am in the afternoon, Members of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union donated over 1000 dollars from the rally and headquarter of CDP. As a conclusion, Chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, publisher of “China Democracy Journal”, Mr. Jun Wang praises all CDP members who participate in the donation.
