At 11:00 am of May 25, 2010, over a hundred China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union members came before Chinese Consulate General in New York to hold a rally of “Protest CCP’s Violent Demolition! Ask for Compensation! Give back Our Homes!” “Firmly support “Chinese Victim League” to seek justice for victims!” Chairman of China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, publisher of “China Democracy Journal” Mr.Jun Wang attended today’s rally and made a speech.
CCP government hopes to use “City: Makes life better” as the slogan for Shanghai World Expo, as a way to express people’s hope for beautiful life, appeal all human beings to initiate city renovation and strengthen the interaction between rural and urban areas. Therefore, they can create a low carbon and resource saving type of city life. In addition, it also put up ideals such as “Citizens make city better”, “City makes life better”, “City life makes the earth even beautiful” and so on. We could say that the intention of CCP government’s ideas is good and it also meets people’s wishes. However, CCP’s Shanghai government wastes tax payers’ money to create a most luxury world expo in history in order to keep its face and facial construction. The theme of Shanghai World Expo is to show the beauty of city. Can a city made up by money from tax payers and numerous victims’ blood and tears be truly “beautiful”?

China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union, publisher of “China Democracy Journal” Mr. Jun Wang said in the rally that to hold the Shanghai World Expo, it’s common for CCP government to do violent demolition. In recent years, in order to construct World Expo buildings, CCP government crashed houses of ordinary people violently. Many bloody incidents and thousands of victims appear. Victims want to justify their rights and ask for reasonable compensation… However, CCP government ignores victims’ difficulties. They are forced to do petition and seek justice, but are violently persecuted by CCP government.
Jun Wang pointed out, Shanghai World Expo has opened for a month. Inside the whole world expo park, there are only facial constructions wasting worker’s property which are used to show off the so-called “Chinese feature Socialism”. CCP government spends so much money on the expo. Why doesn’t it invest on the constructions in areas with destitution? Why doesn’t it invest on basic education? What kind of reasons does the government have to hold the Shanghai World Expo aimed at making city life better? Cities in China are still full of expanding population, blocked transportation and severe pollution. The waste air, noise and waste water are still jeopardizing people’s health. Government officials still corrupt and oppress people. People living at lower levels of city are still poor and left behind. The facts have proven that theme of Shanghai World Expo “City makes life better” is a piece of deceiving lie said by CCP government in order to maintain its autocratic regime.

China Democracy Party and China Democracy Party World Union firmly support Chinese Victims League to defend righteous benefits of all victims in peaceful, reasonable, ordered and moderate ways. We support Chinese Victims League’s focus on victims’ sufferings and historical cases of suffered victims. We seek for a righteous and justified way to promote the progress in China’s human rights, democracy and legislation.
Representative of Chinese Victims League Mrs. Ge, Lifang attended today’s rally. Several China Democracy Party members made speeches on the rally. We strongly protest CCP government’s violent demolition! We ask the government to stop persecution! Ask for compensation! Give back our human rights! Give back out homes! We firmly support Chinese Victims League to seek justice for all suffered victims!
