Yinglan Zhao: It’s Urgent for Chinese Government to open up the News Media

Chinese government has set different kinds of limitation for people to share the news media. It has seriously taken the news media under control. The ubiquitous oppression of the Chinese Communist government makes media workers hard to do. Despite of the press or network, they fail to speak freely.

Today’s China, the news media is still marking time, although it has great development in many aspects. Chinese communist party has no sign of loosing up the control of the media, in other words, Chinese people can’t have the rights for the free media. In recent years, many people’s life-safeguarding protest activities have been blocked by the Chinese Communist Administrative. It is hard for Chinese people to keep track of the truth. It is vital for the domestic to improve the environment of the free media and thoroughly open up the media. If the news media doesn’t have the freedom for the media and then people’s opinions can’t be guaranteed.
