Runchun Gao: Democratic Reform is the Hope for Restraining Corruption for China

The corruptive phenomenon has already been widely known in China. From all levels of government officials to common people, almost all of them have experienced the corruption. Entertainment, present or money is the premises to do everything. Different kinds of corruptive phenomena have widely been considered a way of human communication. It is a matter of fact that Chinese people have been poisoned under the authoritarian culture in the long run. It is also the strategy that moral civilization of the Chinese society has gone corruptive.

Today’s China, the corruptive phenomena of the increasing proliferation has posed a threat to Chinese Communist government. The fundamental way to eliminate corruption is to carry out moral education, to eliminate corruptive authoritarian culture and to practice democratic political reform. The practice of the democratic reform not only indicates that Chinese Communist government will forfeit monopoly power, but also the officials will lose privilege. Hence, a lot of government officials are hostile to democratic system. The only way to rescue China is to carry out the democratic political reform. The best way to solve the corruptive problems is to carry out the democratic political reform. It is the only hope for the Chinese society to effectively restrain the corruption.
