Wenjun Yan: In Memory of the 20th Anniversary of June 4, 1989
June 4, 1989, 20 years ago, Students who appealed for anti-corruption and democracy reform organized the peaceful parade in the Tiananmen Square. The military troops employed tanks and guns to apply brutal and violent repression to the students. Chinese government produced another significant massacre in Chinese history. Till now the murderers who produced this massacre have still remained unarrested, although the massacre was past decades of years. It is the tragedy of both the country and the people.
To memorize the anniversary of June 4, 1989, I, a member of CDP, strongly appealed for CCP government to respect history, bravely committed its crime, severely punished the murderer and apologized to our Chinese people. Meanwhile, I firmly believe that the truth of the Tiananmen Square Movement will ultimately come out. Thousands of victims who suffer the injustice will rest in peace. The living will deserve comforts and the justice will deserve strengthening.
