Shaoyi Zhang: Law is the tool to persecute people under the dictatorial regime

Under the dictatorial regime of China, what I see most is the authority’s persecution to people. Ordinary people don’t have basic human rights and law system is only a kind of fiction. It is only a sort of tool rest in the hand of the authority. Rule of man fundamentally replace the legal system. In the democracy and civil society, health and life, rights and freedom and spirit and dignity have no doubt to be the value of defend. Whether it can defend its value are the only benchmark to measure civilization and savage, and also the only benchmark to measure democratic constitution and autocracy.

Under the dictatorial regime of society, they crazily kill values rather than respect. Today, with the development of civilization, autocracy will kill these values barely and brazenly and take advantage of the excuses. Due to the political killing, changes are taken advantages of the despotic law and that is the political persecution. Chinese communist government persecutes those who are human rights defenders, dissidents and Chinese democrats as legal decisions. It is the political persecution by the means of legal law and severely deters human civilizations.
