Litong Xie: Improvement of Chinese Human Rights Depends on the Action

The situations of Chinese human rights have not improved, although in the《Constitution》, it does specify the items guaranteeing the human rights. They don’t guarantee the human rights, because the events of the human rights violation always happen. It indicates that Chinese government hasn’t improved the human rights and deterred the human rights for sixty years. As a matter of fact, legal provision is totally a piece of worthless paper.

Especially from 2008 Beijing Olympics, different hierarchies of Chinese government take democrats, dissidents and religious persons under control. In these years, international society appeals for urging human rights of Chinese government. Facing the strong appeal of International society, Chinese government has to yield to the human rights and proceeds talk concerning the human rights with people. How human rights affairs develop? Please wait and see.

China Democracy Party thinks that improvement of Chinese human rights depends on the action. Chinese government should take responsibility of improving the human rights.
