Ming Yang: Freedom of Speech is the only way to build up the harmonious society

In the recent 30 years of the open and reform, till 2008 Beijing Olympics, Chinese people’s freedom of speech has been improved. Chinese people are continuously aware of the freedom of speech and backwards of political system that have become the long run contradiction. Tibetan protest in March 2008, Sichuan Earthquake in May and Beijing Olympics of August, let our Chinese people feel improvement of freedom of speech. In the mean time, western societies fairly report that let Chinese people hear different voices and urge people deeply reflect the surrounded freedom of human rights. It is the great challenge of people to defend the rights to CCP’s one party autocracy.

Presently, CCP government hasn’t effectively implemented the freedom of speech and don’t allow people to express different opinions or don’t allow people to criticize what the government has done, although Chinese Constitutions regulate that people have the freedom of speech. Let CCP government oppose people, leading to be the unstable or unharmonious in the long run. CCP government should correspond the trend of the history, open up freedom of speech and it is the only way to build up the harmonious society.
