Guilan Zhan: “June 4” seriously violated human rights 20 years ago
In the early morning of June 4, 1989, 20 years ago, In China Bejing, Chinese authority broodingly oppressed the unprecedented Chinese democracy movement. This democracy movement is peaceful, rational, active and conscience. Those who participated in this movement only wished to express anti-corruption and anti- bureaucratic, but what they deserved was the rush of tanks and guns shooting. The causalities were heavy and the spectacle was amazing. Thousands of young students and citizens, who participated in this movement, were killed, and sentenced and thousands of families were crying.
Today, when Chinese government once again guarantees to defend human rights, what they initiate is persecution. Every event indicates that so called human rights defenders are fake and violation of human rights is the definite truth. As a citizen, we all have thoughts and rights to freedom of speech. The brutal and violated way to treat common people is the most serious violation of human rights.
