Jinji Li: China can’t use violation to build up harmonious society

Chinese government proposes to build up a harmonious society, and it will realize only based on democracy and fairness. People won’t fear of the government officials, if we have democracy. Because people know that people elect officials to serve people. If some official can’t serve well, people will let him get off and elect another. People will feel comfortable only possessing right to vote.

In democratic and liberal society, although people are in poverty, they not only suffer bitter but also suffer grievance. Hence, they won’t feel hatred due to the gap between rich and poor. However the rich can’t despise the poor, and should try their best to help them. The poor shouldn’t hatred the rich, but the rich shouldn’t insult the poor. Only in these situations, one society can obtain true harmony.

Today’s Chinese government can’t purse harmony via democracy and fairness and depend on violation and cheating to pursue it. Under these kinds of condition, we can’t build up a harmonious society.
