Feng Jin: Economy development should emphasize environmental protection

With the continuous development of reform and opening-up and economy, economy development velocity is always dominant and people’s living standards have been improved greatly. However, environmental protection becomes a weak segment and environmental pollution has stood out. Especially in fairly developed area, environmental pollution has restricted the economy development in local area.
In China, serious pollution problems have been resulted by imbalanced policies. During the early period of reform and opening-up, Chinese government has been aimed at pursuit of high velocity development and ignored the proportionate principle invested on environmental protection. It hasn’t paid close attention to the awareness of environmental protection, leading to people’s low-level moral standards and weak consciousness of participating in public environmental protection. Till now, some enterprises still don’t abide by the rule of protection environment, even boycott environmental protection, discharge sewage or abandon waste solid.
In the meanwhile, environmental protection emphasis not only benefits healthy social development, but also does well to descendents. Chinese government should emphasize environmental protection and enforce legislation of protection, making different governments penetrate all fields and section of environmental protection.
