Lina Jiang: Chinese Environmental Problems Make People Worry

Chinese environmental problems are not optimistic. The air quality of this area fails to reach standards, water pollution is serious and food safety accidents are frequent. International society and International environment protection organization has warned Chinese environment for a couple of times, requesting Chinese government to pay attention to environmental protection and to strengthen the legislation of environmental protection and to increase the investment on environmental protection.

Environmental protection can’t stager on the propaganda, but it should have practice. Facing International voice and much more aggravating environmental problems, Chinese government’s reaction is slow. The discharge of industrial waste gas, waste water and waste residue are still increasing and environmental protection lag behind economy development.

Why Chinese environment protection becomes a difficult problem? It is because of the unsound policy. During the process of economy development, Chinese government only focuses on economy benefits, and don’t pay attention to the environmental problems according to scientific development rules.
