The social system of one country depends on the openness degree of freedom of speech. In democracy society, all the speeches are completely open. Government can’t interfere people’s speech and not even restrict. All the people can freely express all the wills including the negative eroticization and opinions and whatever they want to say. However, in Chinese society, government not only strictly controls the Medias, but also restricts the range of speech. People can’t monitor or criticize government policies and what the officials have done.

The newspaper, magazines or other related journals Chinese people read, TV programs people see every day and radio broadcasting people listen have been filtered. All the information can’t truly reflect social problems and people fail to objectively, fully, or truly keep track of government policies, law and related system.

Right of speech belongs to basic human rights. Chinese people’s right of speech has been deprived by government. This act has violated from the freedom of speech. Hence, we appeal to Chinese government to immediately stop restricting people’s freedom of speech and giving it back to people.
