Fengru Jin: Birth Control Policy Deters Women’s Body and Mental Health

In order to control the rapid increase of population 30 years ago, Chinese government launched a massive “Birth Control Movement” in China. This policy doesn’t mainly prevent, but forcibly aborts or induces labor. Under the progress of carrying out birth control policy, it is full of blooding and violence, leading to a part of Chinese women full of sense of horror.

Forcible “abortion” is the character of carrying out birth control. Abortion not only deters women’s body and mental health, it also violates 《International Human Rights Treaty》. Human birth and continuance abide by natural rules. Birth control policy has produced a couple of side effects, such as inferiority of women, gender structure disproportions and etc.

From today, birth control policy has seriously persecuted human rights and it should never carry out. It should stop as soon as possible and let Chinese women possess human rights and freedom.
